- Learning Services
- Learning Services, which operates the Writing Centre, Accessible Learning, the Mathematics Assistance Centre, and more, regularly employs graduate and senior students as tutors, facilitators, and assistants. Job Opportunities are listed on the Learning Services website.
Career Development Centre

- SBE Graduate Programs Career Centre (There are dedicated Career Centre staff members for SBE Graduate Programs)
- Faculty of Social Work Career Centre (The Career Centre has a staff member available at the Faculty of Social Work on Tuesdays)
OneCard & Meal Plans
- Your OneCard is used as your bus pass, photocopy card, library card, access card, identification, and more. You can add money to your OneCard online or at the OneCard Office, to be used for printing, photocopying, food purchases, taxis, and at a number off-campus locations.
- Graduate Students can purchase meal plans, which save you the 13% tax on all food purchased on campus. Any money left over from your meal plan can be refunded.
- Food Services operates the Dining Hall and all food locations on campus other than WLUSU's business operations in the Fred Nichol's Campus Centre. Nutritional information is available by viewing the weekly menu.
Athletics & Recreation
- Golden Hawk Athletics & Recreation offers a fitness centre, rock-climbing wall, olympic-size swimming pool, recreational classes (e.g. yoga, cyclefit, dance), squash courts, intramurals, and more.
- Intramurals are a great way to get to know your colleagues on another level, interact with them informally, and you can develop your athletic abilities.
- Things to know about the Athletic Complex: locks and towels are available, there is often a line up for treadmills, and it is busiest between 4pm and close.

Other Organizations
- WLUSU - The undergraduate Students' Union operates the Centre Spot convenience store, Wilf's Restaurant and Bar, and the Terrace Food Court.
- WLUSU provides some services available to graduate students, such as Foot Patrol, which offers walks and drives home at night throughout the year. WLUSU also oversees a number of Campus Clubs, whose events are often open to all students, including departmental associations, faith- or nationality-based groups, and interest groups.
- Laurier International provides services to international services pre- and post-arrival. UHIP questions can be directed to Laurier International. UHIP is compulsory basic medical coverage: University Health Insurance Plan, which is different from your supplementary health and dental insurance from the GSA.
- The Laurier Students' Public Interest Research Group (LSPIRG), through community collaboration, research, and education, provides opportunities for its members to be agents of change. LSPIRG offers research and job opportunities, as well as a variety of training programs. Graduate Students may opt in to LSPIRG membership.
